Hangry Review

February 3, 2018 Elfy living

I have to admit, before I'd even tried these bar, they definitely have the award for the best name! The packaging stands out so well! The box of six they come in, is also brilliantly designed! Coming in three flavours, I thought I'd take you through the taste of each one, so you can decide… Continue reading Hangry Review

New to Instagram: reverse cookies... In reality me (blonde Laura) and tall Laura just wanted to bake them and eat them as quick as possible. But maybe it’ll catch on?? 😂Terrys chocolate orange cookies (egg free for my flatmates). A NEW BLOG POST has finally gone up on my blog - an unconventional student embracing the student life - if you fancy a read! Can’t believe 2 days till heading home and 14 days till Christmas!! Today consisted of one lecture, kickboxing and procrastinating🙈 Tomorrow consists of voting, handing in forms, gyming then heading in to town for a coffee date and Christmas shopping trip. Then heading back home, to shower get into my elf costume, head to my final lecture of 2019 (yes I’m going as an elf) before heading out for a Christmas meal with coursemates. Fair to say I’ll sleep really well tomorrow 😴
Christmas dinner for 10 🍴 Involved running down the stairs to use flat 3’s oven A LOT, all 10 people overheating because the extractor fan doesn’t work, a walk to Spar because we forgot the broccoli, hand decorated hats and a tonne of washing up. But it was so worth it, and it was very successful! Veggie option: @lindamccartneyfoods loaf (was actually so so delicious) Meat options: Turkey breast roasted in garlic butter and pigs in blankets. Everything else: Roast potatoes, roasted carrots, roasted parsnips, steamed broccoli, boiled carrots, peas, sprouts, veggie stuffing and of course gravy. Oh and Prosecco on the side 🥂
One portfolio submitted, another portfolio and a case study to go! I’ll be celebrating handing all these in with a carol concert happening this evening, I’ve definitely got to the point where I’ve read them wayyy too many times... If you’re wondering where all my foods pics are, I’m currently living off freezer foods as I need to go shopping but have not had the time! (ie: I had custard, frozen fruit and branflakes as a very weird meal yesterday 🙈) on the plus side I had wood fired pizza at a Christmas party (@thebrassbeetlecdf ) yesterday and shall be fed mince pies tonight at a carol concert! Plus I’m finally going food shopping tomorrow!! 📸 Sunset over the girl behind uni, yesterday when walking home from kickboxing (#nofilter )
Had the weirdest day on Monday, came home from uni so tired, went for a nap because it was so needed, forgot to set an alarm, slept for three hours, woke up thinking it was morning and proceeded to eat a bowl of cereal before actually checking the time and realising it was in fact still Monday and it was actually dinner time 😂🙈. Can confirm Tuesday was a lot more successful. Moral of the story, read the clock... 📸 Blackweir bridge in Bute Park
